This Week's Heroes! Congratulations to these brave knights who scored 100% in the test this week:
Ruby Dawe-Simmill, Ember Finlay-Mills, Blossom Hipkin, Georgia Lane, Ewan Lloyd-Butler, Oliver Standard, Summa Suter and Robbie Yeomans. An even bigger congratulations to the following children, who have scored 90% or more 3 weeks in a row and are moving onto the next stage of their quest: Joshua Pugh, Blossom Hipkin, Connor Cloak, Ewan Lloyd-Butler and Robbie Yeomans. Well done all! This week we have been looking at 3, 6 and 9 times tables in our maths lessons. Homework is to complete the 3 x tables sheet. If you want to go the extra mile, you could print off the x6 and x9 sheets and complete those too! Due in by next Thursday (25th October)

You must complete the cursive handwriting sheet and the word search this week as part of your home learning. Test on Friday! Next week is Big Write Week! We will be telling the story of this short film.
Blackface is the story of a colonial hunter who goes in search of some exotic monkeys. Shooting them for sport. He is warned away by a tribal elder, who warns the 'brave' and arrogant explorer about an immortal monkey. The explorer scoffs at the idea and sets off in search of his trophy. The elder casts a spell over the intrepid explorer. Watch the film to see what happens after the explorer finds and shoots a beautiful golden monkey.... Congratulations to Oliver Pugh-Stanhope who wins planner of the week. Robbie Yeomans was awarded spelling book of the week and is also dojo champ this week. Well done both!
